Favorite Movies

Since so much has changed with the recent election, a lot of my priorities shifted. I am trying to watch more documentaries so I can become better informed on the issues and history. I recently saw I am Not Your Negro, which absolutely floored me. I highly recommend it and other documentaries and films such as The 13th, The Untold History of the United States, and Hidden Figures. Below are some of the movies I rate as all time favorites.

Silver Linings Playbook, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hunger Games, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Star Trek, 500 Days of Summer, Adam, District 9, Tropic Thunder, AI, Star Wars, Gattaca, Hidalgo, Lord of the Rings, Titus Andronicus, The Talented Mr. Ripley, American Psycho, Doctor Zhivago, Motorcycle Diaries, Finding Neverland, The Constant Gardener, Grave of the Fireflies, The Dark Knight, Serenity, Russian Ark, Apocalypse Now, and The Sea Inside…

Favorite Tunes

I listen too almost everything and too many favorites to list here.  Check out two of the new albums that have been on heavy rotation for me. “And Then Like Lions” by Blind Pilot along with “Starboy” by The Weeknd. Two very different styles I know but absolutely awesome both. We plan to see Blind Pilot in a month in Atlanta. In fact, we just need to go to live shows more often. Concerts have a way of energizing you and opening your eyes in ways you would never guess. Like this random show we caught at City Winery below during the holidays.
