Fox News made space for the C and D students to feel welcome. W Bush spoke their anti-intellectualist dialect. The Orange Clown made it fashionable to just be dumb and proud. And now, we are left with Radioactive People everywhere. In our halls of Congress, Doctor’s Offices, PTA meetings, Podcasts, and more. They have always been there but far less vocal. The consequences were too high in the past for spewing racist, conspiracy laden, and purely nonsensical vitriol out into the ether. Now, it is come as you are, the more ignorant on the topic the better.
With such an unending wave of idiocy crashing against our shores of peace how is one able to navigate the masses and discern the normal from the radioactive when the latter has become mainstream? I have defined a set of distinguishable characteristics for spotting radioactive people when I see them. A clear and simple rubric for identifying this troubled cohort of humanity. The hard part was creating the logical grouping by toxicity type and then sorting the examples into these types. I hope this guide helps you spare your time and attention from these life suckers.

Whether through music, podcasts, tweets, or prime time Fox segments, you will glean pearls of wisdom from them that are unsolicited, unverified, anti-expert, and contrarian.
Listening to, apologizing for, or explaining Joe Rogan. Also includes the promotion of all pseudo-science and flat earth theories.
Rudderless, they often change their views to conform to the prevailing headwinds of public opinion or to secure a contrarian point of view just for the sake of. Veritable grumbletonians when it comes to all things culture and politics. Especially confrontational or contrarian when it comes to the role of experts and the value of expertise.
Empathy: The deep wells of connective feeling this population possesses is exemplified as so.
Ever the happy people, it is not surprising to find a radioactive person extolling the time honored mantra of “Live, Love, Laugh.” This toxic positivity exempts them from real concern for their fellow man.
Put simply, others have to be less, destroyed, or excluded for their prowess to matter. DEI and critical race theory are synonymous with satanic messages. So ban the books and close the libraries that house them.
They cannot in and of themselves, be significant. Strip away their guns, muscular gains, disdain for broader representation, and embrace of marginalizing policies; you are left with hollow vessels of cowardice.

An unhealthy level of self-worship and equally visceral response to the words “cancel culture.” It is not uncommon for these types of people to self diagnose and prescribe their way to optimal health using all sorts of “sound” treatments like drinking bleach, holding crystals, sweat lodges, or listening to the voices in the ether.
The environment and all green movement get in the way of their freedom. Mother Nature had her chance, now make way for capitalist fueled progress and gas guzzlers.
